Lana Sattelmaier
Hi, I’m a PhD student researching artificial intelligence in K–12 education. I’m especially interested in how teachers and students can develop practical AI skills and what schools actually need to support this. My work combines interviews, focus groups, learning scenarios, and a lot of real-world testing to develop an AI competency model that feels useful, not theoretical. I also enjoy creating open educational resources and running workshops with teachers to help make AI more accessible and less intimidating in everyday classroom life.
