Slow AI: Open Educational Resources for a More Reflective Digital Future
26.11.2025, 10:00–10:45 o'clock (Europe/Berlin), Blue Room

What happens when we slow down our use of AI?

This 45-minute collaborative session invites participants to explore Slow AI, a growing open movement that encourages mindful, ethical, and creative engagement with large language models in education. Together, we will examine how Open Educational Resources (OER) can support slower, more human-centred learning practices.

After a brief introduction to the Slow AI philosophy and examples from the Slow AI Substack, participants will co-design short OER prompts and reflective activities that educators anywhere can reuse or adapt. These may include creative exercises, critical discussion frameworks, or guidelines for responsible classroom use of AI tools.

By the end of the session, participants will have created and shared at least one open, remixable Slow AI learning resource.
