Before graphic design existed as a discipline, art was our first tool for visual communication and the creative use of all the information we had about what we perceived to be humanity. With the birth of the Bauhaus in Germany in 1919, artists began to wonder how they could transform that creativity into a tool at the service of the world. Thus, design was born: as a way of thinking, imagining, and building human solutions and identities.
From my personal experience, as the daughter of deaf-mute parents, I understood from the outset that communication is much more than just talking, and that design goes beyond that. But today, in an era where knowledge is unlimited and anyone can access information in seconds, true education is not about how much we know, but what we do with what we know.

Language of the session –Spanish and English
I am Sofía Osorio, graphic designer, strategist, and digital brand architect. As the daughter of deaf parents, I grew up understanding that communication goes beyond words: visuals also teach, connect, and transform. At the age of 14, I found in design a way to educate and build purpose.
I have worked with high-impact artists, leaders, and entrepreneurs, and from that experience, AMA Studio and my Marca C8® method were born, a system that converts creativity and clarity into community and growth.
I believe that design is a way to educate, and education is a way to design the world we want to see.
