Getting the group together: Groupwork in OER development
25.11.2025, 16:00–16:45 o'clock (Europe/Berlin), Green Room

Education should ensure that learning environments and experiences are equitable. Open Educational Resources allow students greater access to learning materials, and there has been considerable growth in these resources. However, there remains a need for more openly licensed materials to be developed and shared. Creating OERs can be a daunting process alone, but manageable with others. Collaboration with others can be less burdensome, more enjoyable, and result in more diverse and robust materials. This session is designed to have participants share their experiences in working with others in the development of OERs. This includes who to work with and how to find them, as well as the processes, challenges, and benefits of working with others. Collaborative efforts in OER development will be encouraged.
