25.11.2025, 23:00–23:45 o'clock (Europe/Berlin), Plenary Hour
Do you know what makes OERcamp.global so special? It's the community!
You can meet people from other continents who share your interests. You can share ideas on subjects that might not be of interest to some of your colleagues at home. It's a meeting of nOERds!
The global networking hour takes place under the motto 'Open for YOU!'. A full hour is dedicated to networking, i.e. getting to know new people, making connections, exchanging ideas and having fun!
You don't need to prepare anything or bring anything except your Zoom client. Come as you are!
Frank is a second-generation NOERd — he joined the game when it was already in full swing. On the one hand, he regrets that a bit, since he’s only now getting to know so many great people and past projects. On the other hand, he feels that this sometimes allows him to look at OER and OEP from a slightly different “lens.”
Beyond the big topic of openness, Frank can hardly rein in his curiosity about anything related to learning and teaching. That might have something to do with the fact that he once studied (vocational) pedagogy — but then again, maybe not.
Blanche Fabri has been part of J&K – Jöran und Konsorten since the agency was founded in 2009. She holds a degree in Film and Television Studies and studied Media Culture and Political Science in Hamburg. Before joining J&K, she worked in production companies focusing on political TV documentaries. After serving for many years as a project manager, she became head of the agency in August 2014 and managing director in March 2018. She is responsible for the overall direction of the OERcamp project.

After several years in the fashion industry, Karoline decided to pursue a career change with a stronger social focus. Her ambition to work in an environment that makes a positive contribution led her to change careers and enter project management. Today, she works as a project manager at OERcamp and believes it is essential to make education accessible and equitable for all.
Jöran is part of the team behind the OERcamp at Agentur J&K. He co-founded the OERcamp in 2012, with no idea that it would develop into a vibrant gathering centre for the German-speaking OER community. When Jöran isn't hosting an event on OER, he's busy exploring how we can shape learning and working for the future.

She is currently a digital officer and expert in digital learning at the J&K agency and works on projects as a mediator between media, access to knowledge, and digital literacy.
