Open horizons for the world from Latin America (LATAM)/Horizontes abiertos para el mundo desde Latinoamerica (LATAM)
26.11.2025, 06:00–06:45 o'clock (Europe/Berlin), Yellow Room

What future do we want for open education? In this interactive session, the co-authors of the book will present the manifesto co-created based on the UNESCO 2019 recommendations and the Dublin Declaration 2024, where, based on a collective manifesto, they will open up new avenues for action and invite us to take an active part in shaping the future of open education so that it is more equitable, inclusive and accessible to all.
This interactive session will be a call to action for academics, developers, business leaders and decision-makers. We invite you to join this mobilisation of horizons to build a future where knowledge is a common good and a powerful force for global well-being.
