“Since OER activities are mostly driven bottom-up, there has been a need for sharing questions, experiences and materials between players, who have been isolated in their own institutions. These players found opportunities for sharing in cross-sector events and communities. Especially the barcamp/unconference format turned out to fit tremendously well developing a strong German OER community.” (from a UNESCO Report on OER in Germany 2017, p8)
Jöran Muuß-Merholz, founder of the OERcamp, will share his experiences, as well as pictures, numbers, figures and personal insights from 13 years of OERcamps and other barcamps.

Jöran is part of the team behind the OERcamp at Agentur J&K. He co-founded the OERcamp in 2012, with no idea that it would develop into a vibrant gathering centre for the German-speaking OER community. When Jöran isn't hosting an event on OER, he's busy exploring how we can shape learning and working for the future.
