The OER World Map is a central platform that provides a comprehensive, global overview of actors and activities in the field of open education (OE) and open educational resources (OER). It serves to promote networking and exchange within the global OE(R) community.

I am a research assistant at the Germen Education Server (DIPF | Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education, Information Center for Education (IZB). Since 2023 I am responsible for the coordination and community building for OERinfo | Information Service Open Educational Resources, as well as for the continued operation of the OER World Map. I studied Multilingual Communication (B.A.) at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences and Sustainable Development Cooperation (M.A.) at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern. From 2017 to 2021, I was involved in the development of OERinfo as transfer partner for the field of vocational education and training at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB).
