Escape Misinformation
26.11.2025, 12:00–12:45 o'clock (Europe/Berlin), Yellow Room

Can games build resilience to misinformation? In this session you will get to play parts of misinformation escape rooms, learn about our codesign process, and help shape ideas for future activities. We produce all of our games using codesign in partnership with specific communities as we believe learning and misinformation is culturally specific. We've produced games with many countries and interest groups (e.g. music fandom, breast cancer patients). The games are collaborative and social experiences to foster sensemaking and community-based responses to misinformation. They are mostly used in schools and public libraries, as well as for larger events. Freely available of course. Learn more at www.lokisloop.org. Brought to you by the University of Washington Center for an Informed Public.
