The Universal Open Textbook Initiative is a centralized platform that provides free access to high-quality open textbooks across diverse languages, covering every level from Kindergarten through Master's. It serves to address a critical gap: while excellent OER textbooks exist, they're scattered across the internet and almost entirely in English, creating barriers for homeschooling parents, teachers, and students in the developing world.
What problem are we trying to solve, and what are today's challenges in making OER truly accessible across languages and borders? How can AI enhance these static textbooks into personalized learning experiences in the learners' native languages? Let's explore these questions together!
